ABOUT THE THEATER
The Mt. Pleasant High School Theater was completed in February 2008. This beautiful new building was funded by Measure G Bonds, which also funded multiple construction projects at multiple schools in the East Side Union High School District.
The theater has a seating capacity of 400. It is equipped with programmable heating, air conditioning, and lighting as well as state-of-the-art audio and video projection equipment. The theater is completely handicap accessible and equipped for the hearing impaired.
There is a full-stage tension grid 20’ above the stage, allowing for access to virtually any point above the stage for lighting and drops. The theater is not equipped with a fly system.
